Seeing as this journal's been around since I-can't-be-bothered-to-check-but-probably-ages, I thought a new journal for a new decade would be a pretty cool idea - like, a get rid of all the cringe!past stuff and wipe the slate kind of thing. Still groggy from last night; a bottle of vodka and a bottle of wine lie defeated and empty at my feet. As does a cassette case of Jimmy Nail's 'Crocodile Shoes' (bought it from local charity shop - best 25p I ever spent). Birthday presents! XD Jack got me some gorgeous gouache watercolours (in their own eighties-style case! Daaaaw) and a snazzy-posh watercolour pad to go with them (which he promptly spilled my vodka and coke all over (thickest paper in the world though, possibly responsible for destruction of half the Amazon, so it seems to be okay :/); Tom got me an 'Impossipuzzle'' of Tigger which may take the rest of my natural life to complete, a retro Star Trek novel (and I mean retro) and a bar of Galaxy; Adam got me a bottle of rose which, being Adam, he drank half of before the night was out. And there was a massive party over at Jamie's which everyone went to, including the Animation gang, which was freakin' awesome. All in all a really good night!

The day wasn't that great though; got results back for everything, and passed but only barely. Not going to go into the details, I've moaned about work enough already for most people to want to pull a Van Gogh; I'm just glad I passed. Yayz xD

Oh, and if anyone fancies a trek to New York, I will literally hug you till you die. Okay maybe that's not the best incentive, but this should be:

My laptop cable's buggered again, which means I have to wait till Monday to send it away. Blargh. I need my baby graphics tablet!!!1!!

But! Saw Star Trek last night, despite severe lack of funds. WORTH IT. So cool! Bones and Spock = best characters ever. Winona Ryder's in it though, which upset and angered me. Not in it for very long though. >D There had better be Klingons in the second one though, or people will lose their shit.

There's other stuff, too, but not in the mood to write about much right now. At least I have my candy necklace. Oh, and I did that Star Trek character quiz. Got Uhura. Pff.

This lip sync project must be destroyed! *brandishes mallet* If I could go back in time to the day I thought, 'oh, I'll try and be hardcore and do 10 seconds in a style I've never done before' I would actually STRANGLE MY SORRY ASS. Just gotten 41 frames into the bastard and realised I can't draw realistic men with lips (which are kind important in a LIP sync, but I skimmed over that detail when I started). But I'll finish it and try to rescue it in Photoshop or After Effects or some piece of software that will make it all better. The only reason I'm sticking with this one is coz the character I'm doing is The Most Hardcore Guy in the History of the World (clip: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z2Q7YRDL90E - I'm doing Al, from about 1:55 onwards). Not like any of you wanted to know that >.< It's also not very fun coz I've been sitting in a darkened room since TEN O'CLOCK THIS MORNING doing it while everyone else on gets to London for the day. But I got chocolate spread out of it, so it's not all bad :D And there's nothing better in the world than line-testing your work and seeing that it works. DUDE. Such a buzz.

Aaaaapart from that, erm... not much to say really. More complaining. Our rent for Dollis Drive is paid termly, like the student accommodation, which means our landlord wants £1,600 or something around about that off of each of us all in one go, and he wants it by mid-May. I have £986 in my bank, thanks to the rent I had to pay for where I'm living now. I don't know how I'm going to pay this.


I need a hug.

So I have just about less four hours to write a 2,500 word essay! Lol! *dies*  And Jack was asking me all night about who I liked and I just gave him the cold shoulder. But one hurdle at a time, ladies and gentlemen; let's just hope I don't fail my essay for the meantime >.<

*sigh* I was just running around so much trying to see everyone. Eeh... the night at Sam's was well good though [except when I fell asleep coz of Lauren and her MAD VODKA POURING], and it was awesome seeing Frazzy again.  Train leaves at quarter past nine tomorrow, so I can get into London about lunchtime and have a wander with my camera :3 And I will most definitely be paying H+M and Forbidden Planet a visit and making as much trouble as I can with my suitcase. >D Must stop using key-facey-things. :/  [That was my last one, honest. And I actually miss Farnham! Wtf? What's going on?? It's weird, I was cursing it when I left and when I got here I just started loving the place. Oh, shit! Just forgot, the metal bit that goes into my laptop on my power cable's snapped off. I have no power cable! And no battery left!

Oh, went shopping today *woopwoop* Got clothes, a disgustingly cheap but very pretty bag (Primark has secure my place in hell >.<) and film for my camera. Black and white film for free! Tom, Jack, Adam and I played that last night. I woke up at four this afternoon. We recorded it as well, and I was less than subtle in that I cuddled up to Jack on several occasions near the end of the night >.< But he offered to change me into pyjamas, so I guess it didn't go too badly. 0:D



I'll write more when I'm more coherent, and the library woman isn't screaming at us to turn our monitors off. See people on Monday! Or more likely Tuesday, seeing as it's my mum's birthday on Monday ^^

Coming back for a week! Yeehah! 19th till the 24th, booked and payed for. On the megabus, sadly, but we can't have everything.

Still lost. But it's the taking part that counts. :/  There was this really wierd kid that chased Tom's ball down the alley and did a wierd worm-thing when he got a strike, then went away again. I'm starting to wonder if he was even real.


Erm... not much else to report really... Got here to find that we had three weeks of nothing, lol. Will probably get the megabus/-train back home for a week, but I guess it depends on whether I get a referral for my Representation stuff... which I will, I have no doubt. Oh, and I got 62% on Animation Skills! Which is good, but it kind of a gutter seeing as it's quite close to 70% and if I'd worked a bit harder, like I said I would, I would have gotten a 1st. Oh well, no use complaining - at least I passed! XD

Hmm... Jack half-rang me this morning, but hung up before I could answer. Maybe I should text him ro something; he went home for the weekend on Friday with Sarah but he rang us last night and said he was back - hope he's okay :S There'll be a rational explanation but I don't want to pry. And I'm hungry now, so I think I'll go have one of the curries my mum and dad pre-made before we came down lmao ^^

GOOD DAY

Don' t think I've felt right since I got back from visiting home.

The past month or so I've been feeling so under the weather, nauseous, ill, crampy, tired and achy that I've missed God knows how many lectures now and it's really starting to affect how I work. My sleep pattern's fucked coz fo this cough that I've had for about two weeks that makes my brain feel like it's being shaken out of my ears and my stomach's shrivelled from bending over with it all the time. Going to the doctor tomorrow. Better late than never. And stress levels are super high because on top of all our deadlines, I've got to hand in my Self-Portrait stuff early. Which in itself is actually a plus, since only six of us got picked to show it to these guys in the first place, but it all boils down to being a big wobbly pile of YIKES.


On the plus side, I got given some munnies, it's nearly Christmas, and smite me down if I'm not going to cuddle up in bed with a cup of hot chocolate and watch that copy of Land Before Time I just bought.

How d'ya like them apples, virus-thingy?

No other course here has to do this much work! From a championship procrastinator's point of view, this is entirely the wrong course to be on. I must change my ways. Bah! I complain but I love it really xD Probably shouldn't be wasting time doing things like this, though:
